Laser tattoo removal: Fotona StarWalker MaQX
Tattoos are a popular trend, serving as fashion, reminder of a memory, or youthful mistakes. Neodymium lasers effectively remove unwanted skin pigmentation, while professional tattoo removal requires different wavelengths to target each dye color.
The patented FracTAT tattoo removal procedure by Fotona further increases the effectiveness of the treatment in a single session. The FracTAT procedure utilizes the StarWalker laser system, powered by MaQX10 laser pulses, to create micro-holes in the skin allowing the laser to reach deeper pigments and promoting faster removal of colored pigments from the skin.

The Procedure
The laser tattoo removal is performed in different stages;
Stage 1: The specialist examines the treatment area (tattoo), assesses the working zone, and determines the skin phototype.
Stage 2: The hair is then removed from the treated area before the procedure. The photoacoustic waves target only the pigment-containing cells and granules in the intercellular space, breaking them into tiny particles. This process creates plasma and a protective collagen shield over the pigment, instantly lightening the tattoo.
The recovery process is scar free as the surrounding tissues are not damaged
Stage 3: This is the final stage where therapeutic cream is applied to the treated area and the client is recommended some aftercare.
