Facial capillaries, spider veins and leg veins treated with the Fotona SP Dynamis Pro laser, which seals the vessel and spares the skin. Minimal downtime.
Is Veins right for me?
- For facial capillaries, spider veins, cherry angiomas and small to large leg veins.
- Fifteen to thirty minutes for surface treatment with no downtime; endovenous treatment under local anaesthetic with a short recovery.
- Vessels fade over two to six weeks; one to three sessions for most.
Vessels, closed.
Visible veins, from fine facial capillaries and spider veins to larger leg veins, are treated with laser at the clinic. The Fotona SP Dynamis Pro Nd:YAG laser has a strong affinity for haemoglobin: its energy is absorbed by the blood in the vessel, which heats, contracts and seals, while surrounding tissue is spared. Healthy veins take over the flow.
Facial and small leg veins are treated from the surface in fifteen to thirty minutes with no downtime. Larger leg veins can be treated endovenously, with the laser delivered through a fine fibre, a minimally invasive alternative to surgery with a short recovery. Sclerotherapy is available where it suits better.
