Ellansé is a collagen-stimulating filler. It restores volume immediately, like a hyaluronic acid filler, but its microspheres of polycaprolactone then stimulate the body to produce its own collagen where the product sits. The result is volume that improves for months and lasts up to two years, with a natural feel.
The clinic uses Ellansé for cheeks, temples, jawline, chin, nasolabial folds, hands and the décolletage, in patients who want longer-lasting structure. It is not used in the lips or tear trough.
Because it is not reversible with an enzyme, it is placed with particular care by Dr. Fehmida, and the consultation will say if a hyaluronic acid filler is the better first step.
