Is Psoriasis right for me?

  • For plaque, scalp, nail, guttate and inverse psoriasis at any age and severity.
  • A consultation with staging and a written plan; reviews every four to eight weeks.
  • Plaques thin within weeks; clearance or near-clearance over two to three months for most; maintenance keeps it clear.
Overview

Clear skin is possible.

Psoriasis is an immune condition that shows on the skin as thick, scaly plaques on the elbows, knees, scalp and body, sometimes with nail changes and joint pain. It is not contagious and it is very treatable, but it needs a dermatologist, because the treatments range from creams to phototherapy to modern systemic and biologic therapy, and choosing the right level matters.

The clinic diagnoses the type and extent, screens for joint involvement, and builds a plan: topical treatment for limited disease, phototherapy or systemic therapy for moderate to severe, with monitoring. Scalp psoriasis and nail psoriasis are treated specifically.
