PRP Hair Lift in Karachi
Your own platelets, concentrated and injected into the scalp to wake thinning follicles. Density improves within ninety days; three to four sessions, then maintenance.
Is PRP for hair right for me?
- For early to moderate thinning in men and women, increased shedding, and support around a transplant.
- A forty-five-minute session including the blood draw, with numbing; mild tenderness for a day.
- Shedding reduces within weeks; density improves from ninety days and continues over six months.
Stronger, thicker growth.
PRP for hair uses your own platelets to wake up thinning follicles. A small blood sample is spun in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma from the red and white cells that hinder repair, and the concentrated growth factors are injected into the scalp where hair is thinning. Dormant follicles are stimulated, blood supply improves, and hair grows thicker and sheds less.
It is the most established non-surgical treatment for early to moderate hair loss in men and women, with no risk of reaction because it is entirely your own blood, and it strengthens existing hair before and after a transplant. Results are noticeable within ninety days and continue to improve over six months.
The cause comes first
Thinning hair has many causes: genetics, thyroid problems, low iron or vitamin D, hormonal conditions such as PCOS, stress, illness and childbirth. PRP works best when those causes are found and treated alongside it, so Dr. Fehmida examines the scalp and may request blood tests before recommending a course. Where the hair loss has a different cause, such as patchy alopecia or scarring, the plan changes.
Three to four sessions a month apart, then maintenance every four to six months.

About forty-five minutes.
Reduced shedding within weeks; visible density from ninety days, improving over six months.
If you have thinning rather than bald patches, yes. The consultation confirms with a scalp examination.
Mild tenderness or redness for a day; no time off work.
Yes. It is your own blood, prepared in a closed circuit, with no risk of reaction or disease transmission.
Yes. Female pattern thinning and shedding after childbirth or illness respond well, and a blood test for iron, thyroid and hormones is usually part of the plan.
For most patients the improvement holds for about a year. Genetic hair loss continues in the background, so a maintenance session every four to six months keeps the gains.
They work differently and are often used together. Minoxidil is a daily home treatment and PRP is a clinic treatment every few months; the combination usually does better than either alone.
No. PRP needs living follicles to work on. Areas that have been bald for years need a hair transplant, and PRP then supports the transplanted and surrounding hair.
