Dr. Fehmida Arif is a Consultant Dermatologist and Laser Skin Specialist, MBBS and MCPS, with more than thirty-five years in dermatology. After her postgraduate training in dermatology she spent five years working in Zurich, Switzerland, and returned to Karachi to build a clinic that would bring the same equipment, the same protocols and the same standard of care to Clifton.

The clinic opened in 1999. It has grown into one of the most comprehensively equipped aesthetic dermatology practices in Pakistan, but the model has not changed: every patient is assessed by Dr. Fehmida herself, every plan starts with a diagnosis, and every treatment is chosen because it is the right one for that face, that skin and that calendar, not because it is the one in fashion.

Dr. Fehmida is known for a personalised approach and for restraint. She keeps up with the field continuously, adds technology when the evidence is there, and turns patients away from treatments that will not serve them. The aim is always long-term results and a face that still looks like you.

How the clinic works

Four things you can expect.

A diagnosis before a treatment

Lines, laxity, pigment, hair loss and fat each have causes. The consultation identifies yours, and the treatment follows from the cause. Patients regularly leave with a different plan from the one they came in asking for, and a better one.

Chosen for brown skin

Every laser, peel and protocol in the clinic is selected and set for Pakistani skin tones, which pigment easily and scar when treated aggressively. Conservative settings, test patches and sun protection are part of every plan.

The doctor does the work

Injectables, lasers and regenerative treatments are performed or directly supervised by Dr. Fehmida. Nurses and technicians support; the clinical decisions are hers.

Restraint, and honesty about limits

The goal is rested and natural, never done. When a device will not achieve what you want, you will be told, and when surgery is the honest answer, the clinic says so.

TrainingDermatology, then Europe

MBBS and MCPS in dermatology, followed by five years of practice in Zurich, where the approach to laser and aesthetic medicine shaped everything that followed.

1999The clinic opens in Clifton

An aesthetic laser clinic in Block 5, built around medical dermatology, at a time when laser skin treatment in Karachi was almost unknown.

The laser yearsFotona, Candela and Q-switched

The clinic built a full Fotona platform, added Candela for hair removal and Q-switched lasers for pigment, and chose every wavelength for how it behaves on brown skin.

Energy and bodyMuscle, fat and skin without surgery

Emsculpt Neo, Emface, Emsella, XERF, HIFU and Ultherapy brought contouring, lifting and intimate health into the clinic, prescribed by measurement rather than trend.

RegenerativeYour own biology

PRP, exosomes, polynucleotides, Rigenera micrografts and the Meta Cell Technology protocols added a regenerative layer for skin and hair.

Next to the British Deputy High Commission and behind the Sindh Archives, the clinic has dedicated laser and treatment rooms and private consultation rooms. Sessions run Monday to Friday from nine to five and Saturdays from nine to four.
