Visiting the clinic

Straight answers to the questions patients ask before their first visit. Anything missing, WhatsApp the clinic.

Call or WhatsApp 0301 827 9630, or leave your number on any page and the clinic calls you back. Consultations are with Dr. Fehmida Arif herself.

A twenty to thirty minute consultation. Dr. Fehmida examines your skin, hair or body, asks about your history and goals, and explains the cause of what you are seeing before recommending anything. Some treatments can start the same day; others need a test patch or blood work first.

200/1 Clifton 1, Block 5, Clifton, Karachi, next to the British Deputy High Commission and behind the Sindh Archives. Monday to Friday 9:00 to 6:00 and Saturday 9:00 to 5:00.

Yes. Men make up a large share of patients for hair restoration, body contouring, acne, sweating and laser hair removal, and every treatment on the site is available to them.

Aesthetic treatments are for adults of eighteen and over. Medical dermatology, including acne, eczema and psoriasis, is available for younger patients with a parent present.

02

Safety

Injectables, lasers and regenerative treatments are performed or directly supervised by Dr. Fehmida, a Consultant Dermatologist with more than thirty-five years of experience. Trained nurses and technicians assist with device treatments under her protocols.

Yes, when the right wavelength and settings are used. The clinic's lasers are chosen for Pakistani skin tones, Nd:YAG for hair removal and pigment in particular, and every new treatment starts with a test patch and conservative settings.

Most are comfortable. Injectables use numbing cream and fine needles; lasers use cooling; energy devices feel like warmth or a firm massage. Where a treatment is uncomfortable, the page says so and numbing is used.

It depends on the treatment. Many, including Botox, HydraFacial, Emsculpt and most lasers, have none. Resurfacing lasers, deeper peels and threads have a few days of redness or swelling. Each treatment page lists its downtime honestly.

Common side effects are temporary: redness, swelling, small bruises, mild tenderness. Serious side effects are rare and are minimised by correct diagnosis, sterile technique and doctor-set parameters. Hyaluronic acid fillers are reversible. You will be told the specific risks of your treatment before you consent.

Most aesthetic treatments are postponed during pregnancy and breastfeeding as a precaution. Skin care, HydraFacial and some medical dermatology remain possible. Tell the clinic before any treatment if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or trying to conceive.

03

Results and pricing

Botox three to four months; fillers nine to eighteen months; skin tightening devices one to two years; laser hair removal gives long-term reduction, and fat reduction is permanent for the treated fat cells. Each treatment page states its duration and maintenance.

Yes. The clinic shows manufacturer clinical photography, credited, and its own patient results only with written consent. Results vary between patients, and the consultation is where you learn what is realistic for you.

Pricing depends on the treatment, the area and the number of sessions, so it is quoted at the consultation or on WhatsApp. Course pricing is available for treatments that need several sessions.

Often the best plan is a combination, for example Botox with a skin booster, or Emsculpt with Cooltech. Dr. Fehmida sequences treatments so they support each other and so downtime is minimised.

Start from the concern rather than the treatment. The Concerns pages explain the causes and the options, and the consultation decides. You can also ask the Skin Concierge on any page for a first steer.
