Is Cooltech right for me?

Body fat in certain areas is stubborn. It does not respond to diet or exercise the way the rest of the body does, and it sits exactly where clothes show it: the lower abdomen, the flanks, the inner thighs, under the chin. Cooltech treats that fat by freezing it.
The technology is cryolipolysis. Fat cells are more sensitive to cold than the skin, nerves and muscle around them, so a controlled low temperature applied through a suction applicator crystallises and deactivates the fat cells while the overlying skin is protected. Over the following weeks the body clears the damaged cells through the lymphatic system and the fat layer visibly thins.

The applicator draws in the bulge
After a protective gel pad, the applicator gently suctions the tissue and brings it to a controlled low temperature. The first minutes feel cold and tight, then the area goes numb.
Fat cells crystallise
Over about 70 minutes the fat cells in the cooled zone are damaged while the skin, nerves and muscle around them are unharmed. A short massage afterwards helps the process.
Your body clears the cells

It is uncomfortable for the first few minutes and then numb. No painkillers are needed for most people. The area can feel tender and look bruised for a few days afterwards.
