Platelet-rich plasma uses your own blood to rejuvenate your skin. A small sample is drawn, spun in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets, and the plasma rich in growth factors is injected into the skin or applied through microneedling channels. The growth factors signal repair: new collagen, new blood vessels, healthier skin.
The clinic uses PRP for facial rejuvenation, under-eye darkness and hollows, acne scars, and, with the hair protocol, for thinning hair. Because it is entirely your own tissue there is nothing to react to, which makes it the regenerative treatment for patients who want nothing foreign in their skin.
