Is LED Therapy right for me?

  • For active acne, redness and rosacea, post-procedure healing and gentle collagen stimulation.
  • Fifteen to twenty minutes under the light with protective goggles; no sensation beyond warmth.
  • Acne and redness improve over a course of eight to twelve sessions; healing after procedures is faster from the first.
Overview

Light that heals.

LED therapy uses specific wavelengths of light to change how skin cells behave. Blue light kills the bacteria that drive acne. Red light reduces inflammation and stimulates collagen. Near-infrared reaches deeper to speed healing. None of it heats or damages the skin, which is why it can be repeated as often as twice a week and used on every skin type.

At the clinic LED is a treatment on its own for acne, rosacea and redness, and a finishing step after peels, microneedling, laser and HydraFacial, where it calms the skin and halves recovery. Sessions take fifteen to twenty minutes and feel like sitting under warm light.

Questions patients ask

LED Therapy, answered.

Straight answers from the clinic. If your question is not here, ask on WhatsApp.

Yes. It uses visible and near-infrared light without UV, does not heat or damage the skin, and suits all skin types. If you are pregnant, the clinic will advise before you start.

Fifteen to twenty minutes.

None. LED is gentle light with no heat, so you can go straight back to your day.

Faster healing immediately after procedures; acne and redness improve over four to six weeks of regular sessions.

Eight to twelve for acne or redness, once or twice a week, then maintenance.

No. It feels like warm light.

For mild acne it can be enough alongside a good routine; moderate to severe acne needs prescription treatment as well.

Pricing is per session or per course, and it is often included with other treatments. Ask on WhatsApp for current pricing.
